It's Better at the Cinema!

Under the slogan “It’s Better at the Cinema!”, the project promoting films to be released in upcoming season was launched.

Dalibor Matanić’s amazing film “The High Sun“, after a successful worldwide festival tour, is scoring good box office results, and the other three titles will attract even more viewers.

In association with Cinema Network, Croatian Audiovisual Centre has begun to decentralise the premieres of Croatian titles. Therefore, apart from the Zagreb premiere, the films will also be released locally in towns with digitised and renovated old cinemas, thanks to the efforts of HAVC and the Ministry of Culture.

The film “Life is a Trumpet“ by Antonio Nuić toured five Croatian cities. It was released on 3 December and the cast and crew of “Trumpet” toured Rijeka, Daruvar, Čakovec, Samobor and Bjelovar after the premiere on 1 December.

Nuić’s film was followed by ‘the greatest comedy since 1945’, released on 31 December, “National Hero Ljiljan Vidić“, directed by Ivan Goran Vitez. Premieres were held in Osijek on december 28th 2015, Samobor January 14th 2016, Rijeka December 31 2015, and on the same date in Varaždin.

Igor Šeregi’s feature debut “ZG80“ was released in summer 2016. On August 27th cast and crew of “ZG80″ came at the premiere of the movie in Urania Cinema in Osijek. How was the premiere look here.

Rijeka’s Art-cinema held the premiere of the movie “The Constitution“ by Rajko Grlić on October 3rd 2016. The premiere was attended by director Rajko Grlić, writer Ante Tomić and actress Ksenija Marinković.

Split’s Cinema Karaman held the premiere of the movie “All the Best” by Snježana Tribuson on December 6th 2016. The premiere was attended by director Snježana Tribuson and one part of cast crew. How was the premiere look here.

On January 26th 2017. in Osijek’s Cinema Urania the premiere of the movie “The Mystery of Green Hill” was held and the premiere was attended by director Čejana Černić and members of young cast crew – Marko Tocilj (Koko), Alex Rakoš (Tomo), Lucija Philips (Emica), Tin Gregorić (Božo) and Jakov Piljek (Crni). How was the premiere look here.

On January 28th 2017 in Rijeka’s Art-cinema Croatia the premiere of the movie “The Mystery of Green Hill” was held and the premiere was attended by director Čejana Černić, producer Ankica Jurić Tilić (Kinorama) and members of young cast crew – Marko Tocilj (Koko), Alex Rakoš (Tomo), Lucija Philips (Emica), Tin Gregorić (Božo) and Jakov Piljek (Crni).
